Magdalena will be travelling to the historic city of Orléans in the Loire Valley in spring 2018 for four weeks of work placement and training.
The cities of Dundee and Orléans were twinned in 1946, and hundreds of exchange trips have taken place since then, including school children; university and college students; Rotarians; city centre managers and people from the hospitality industries.
The Dundee-Orléans Twinning Association, whose aim is to foster and further the excellent relations between the two cities, have supported Magdalena’s educational visit with bursary funding of 800 Euros. The experience will build on skills that Magdalena has already learned in College, and enhance her future employment prospects.
