Kenny Hutton, Ashleigh O’Neil and Jane MacKenzie worked hard to prepare a selection of chocolates and macaroons for the Pop Up Dundee Teen Market, running in City Square.

The trio have been studying patisserie at Kingsway Campus for the past year and were keen to bring their sweet skills to bear on the market.

The chocolatiers were not the only ones guaranteeing that market visitors won’t go hungry however, SVQ 2 professional cookery student Stuart Baird turned up the heat with pulled pork burgers and pulled lamb rolls

For those wanting to create their own Dundee delicacies another team of professional cookery students offered soup bags for sale. Recipes include lentil and tomato, curried parsnip, and red pepper.

A team of eight art and design students also took part, offering a range of gifts, textile art and accessories, as did entrepreneur Kim Rawe who operates her own business based at Enterprise D&A at the Gardyne Campus.
