Tay Cities SME Skills Fund

The Tay Cities SME Skills Fund, funded through the Tay Cities Deal, offers a £5,000 grant opportunity to small to medium sized businesses in the Tay Cities region to use to upskill or re-skill their workforces through training provided by academic training providers across the region.

Training Providers:

This fund is not just about financial support; it's a strategic investment in your workforce. It focuses on enhancing employee experience, fostering professional growth, and boosting talent retention—all vital components for sustainable business success.

Alongside training, you will be referred to our network of business support partners. This ensures you are able to tap into the wealth of resources within the regional business ecosystem, creating a holistic approach to your business development.

What can the fund be used for?

The fund can be used to access training from any of our training providers in order to upskill members of your team to your business needs. Bespoke training can also be created for skills specific to your business.

Fund Eligibility & Criteria

  • Business size: SME Businesses (less than 250 employees)
  • Business location: Tay Cities Region

*The fund can be only accessed once per business from 2023/24 to 2029/30

We identify skills gaps and what training programme you will need for your business

Step 4

Your training provider will be determined by your location and training needs identified upon completion of your training needs analysis
