If your business is based in Dundee, you and your employees can access fully-funded Electric/Hybrid and Hydrogen vehicle training at The Skills Academy through our Green Skills Fund.
Electric and Hybrid vehicles now account for around 30% of all car and van sales, and new skills are required to safely work around these vehicles including mechanics, vehicle recovery providers, valets and first-responders amongst others.
Liaising with our employability partners we can work with you to train unemployed individuals with the skills that you require for your workforce. We will work with you to identify the key skills required and shape a recruitment academy lasting 6 weeks and along with mandatory training such as health & safety, and industry-specific training, learners will develop key skills including:
Communication and presentation skills
Digital skills
Team working and problem-solving
Growth mindset and resilience
