Jen entered the Incubator programme in summer 2016 following the successful completion of a course within our Arts department. With a passion for ceramics, her business created unique ceramics using natural patterning and embedding. Finding a strong market, she quickly started to expand her sales pipeline creating relationships with regional craft shops that were keen on taking her product. After winning a prize in one of our Enterprise Dragons competition, Jen was able to purchase her own kiln and work from her own home.

Razwana was a successful entrant in our Think Big competition with part of her prize being access to the Incubator facility for 12 months. Starting early 2016, Razwana grabbed the opportunity with both hands and developed her bespoke Muslim introduction service further, whilst investigating online possibilities. As she continued to grow her business she realised she had a passion for helping other muslim female entrepreneurs which she continues to develop.
