Our exceptional facilities and experienced lecturers ensure a high standard of training that will equip you with the skills and practical experience needed to succeed in the industry.

You'll work with professional products from companies like Wella/Sebastian on real paying clients, enhancing your knowledge and employability.

This course includes practical classes and project work, which will be delivered on campus 2-3 days per week from 9 am to 5 pm, with potential evening classes from 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm.

Entry Requirements

Completion of VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Women's Hairdressing (or equivalent) and relevant industry experience. You may be invited to a skills workshop to show your skill level and asked to provide a good reference. For applicants for whom English is not their first language, ESOL at SCQF level 5 is required as excellent communication skills are needed.

All applicants should be 16 years or older before the start of the course.

Method of Assessment

You will be observed while providing services to clients working in our salons. To successfully complete this course, you will be required to conduct research and complete assignments and e-learning modules. You will have to prepare extensively for online exams to achieve exam success.
