Course Content

Our Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy course will develop your skills in a range of beauty skills and knowledge that will provide you with a substantial qualification. You will get extensive hands-on experience to develop skills.

This course is delivered on campus with practical classes and project work, covered over 2-3 days per week (9-5 pm) plus potential evening class (4:30-8:00pm).

Entry Requirements

To apply for this course, you must have a keen interest in Beauty Therapy. Two National 5 qualifications or Level 1 Beauty course is required. A satisfactory reference may be required. For applicants where English is not your first language, then SCQF Level 5 is required as excellent communication skills are needed.

All applicants should be 16 year or older before the start of the course.

Method of Assessment

Assignments and exams will take place throughout the course, and skills are assessed by direct observation. Continuous research and self-study will also be required to complete this course successfully.

All practical assessments are carried out on paying clients within our beauty salons.

Further study on level 3 Beauty or ITEC courses or employment in the beauty therapy industry in various career opportunities.
