This Award aims to give candidates the necessary knowledge, skills and understanding to improve their own practice and to ensure that the care they provide meets industry and individuals standards and expectations.

Entry Requirements

The award is designed for those that are currently in a health care community or acute setting. Some prior relevant qualifications at Level 7 or an appropriate SVQ Level 3 would be recommended however each individual application would be taken into consideration.

Method of Assessment

Research and audit projects from workplace, Essays, Closed book assessments. Group and individual presentations.
