NPA Award in Construction: Multi Trade

Course Content

This nationally recognised course covers various topics such as Roofing, Rendering, Introduction to External Wall Insulation, Painting and Decorating, Health and Safety, and Employment Behavioral Skills. In addition, it includes essential skills in Communication, ICT, and Construction Numeracy. To achieve certification, all course units must be completed. The course might involve online learning.

Entry Requirements

Successful completion of Building Trades Fast Track, Senior Phase Skills for Work Construction Crafts or Gateway to Trade Skills (Construction) course, or two passes at National 5 (or equivalent) preferably in English and Maths.

All applicants will require a satisfactory interview which may include a diagnostic test.

Method of Assessment

Practical assessments and theoretical knowledge-based assessment.

Future Prospects

Successful completion of the course can lead to apprenticeships in various construction crafts or further education (Built Environment/Construction related courses).
