NPA Award in Construction: Multi Trade

Course Content

The nationally recognised course covers; Joinery; Bricklaying; Painting and Decorating; Health and Safety; and Employment Behavioural Skills. This will also include core skills in Communication, ICT and Construction Numeracy. All units within the course must be achieved to gain certification. This may include an element of online learning.

Entry Requirements

Successful completion of Building Trades Fast Track, Senior Phase Skills for Work Construction Crafts or Gateway to Trade Skills (Construction) course, or two passes at National 5 (or equivalent) preferably in English and Maths.

All applicants will require a satisfactory interview which may include a diagnostic test.

Method of Assessment

Practical assessments and theoretical knowledge-based assessment.

Future Prospects

Successful completion of the course can lead to apprenticeships in various construction crafts or further education (Built Environment/Construction related courses).
