Course Content
This course covers a variety of topics, including algebraic operations, indices, surds, trigonometry, quadratics and functions.
It provides flexible study options, allowing you to attend on-campus classes one evening per week from 6 pm to 9 pm or study independently as a distance learner.
Regardless of your chosen study method, you will have access to all course materials and weekly check tests to track your progress. You must attend on campus for unit assessments and prelims.
Entry Requirements
- National 4 Mathematics
- Entry to the course may also be subject to the successful completion of a diagnostic test
Method of Assessment
Three closed book unit tests over the course of the year and a prelim that will take place in February. Learners must achieve a satisfactory mark in the prelim exam to sit the final exam.
Future Prospects
Required for all primary and secondary teaching courses, many Engineering courses and some Social Work courses. Also sought after by employers and Higher Education institutions.
