Course Content

This course develops valuable language skills through the study of non-fiction and literature. You will learn how to analyse and evaluate texts effectively, preparing you for course assessments and future academic or career aspirations.

Study Options

  • In-Person Classes (Recommended): Weekly evening classes at our Gardyne Campus (6-9 pm). Direct support from tutors, peer collaboration and a structured environment
  • Distance Learning: Independent study with online materials. Requires strong self-discipline and motivation, with mandatory campus attendance for assessments.

Entry Requirements

A pass at National 5 English at grade A or B (or equivalent) is expected. Applicants with a grade C may still be considered following a successful diagnostic test and/or interview.
