HNC Dance Artists
Course Content
This intensive training course aims to develop your technical and creative skills to equip you to apply these skills in a variety of performance and choreographic projects in preparation for the dance industry. There will be opportunities to collaborate with others and to perform in our purpose-built theatre, The Space, or through screen dance. There are numerous master classes taught by professional dancers/teachers/choreographers that offer exciting and vibrant learning that links to industry. Course content will reflect the ever-changing nature of contemporary dance innovation and incorporate these specialisms accordingly.

- contemporary dance technique
- body conditioning
- commercial techniques
Entry Requirements
Two Highers in any subject, previous dance experience is desired.
Method of Assessment
Assessment is a combination of practical class work, performance and written assignments.
Future Prospects
Learners may go onto further study within the department to HND (level 8) and continue on to our BA Professional Dance top-up course.
