Foundation Degree of the Arts - Esports and Creative Industries Year 2

Course Content

This is the second year of the new foundation degree in Esports and Creative Media (at SCQF level 8, or the same as HND), the first of its kind in Scotland.

This course builds on the knowledge and skills you built in the first year of the course, taking you into new areas and further developing and enhancing existing skills.

In the second year of the degree you will study:

• Digital Marketing - Advanced Skills
• Esports Media
• Technology for Esports
• Esports Wellbeing and Performance - Advance Skills
• Introduction to Research

This foundation degree is validated by the University of West London (UWL).

Entry Requirements

This is a progression course, and in order to undertake year 2 of this foundation degree, you must have successfully passed year 1.

Method of Assessment

Each module will have its own assessment. Methods of assessment will vary depending on the module, and may include:

• Written reports
• Exams
• Production of video and media

Future Prospects

Successful students will be able to progress to various opportunities such as University articulation, industry placements, full-time employment.
