Course Content

This practical course provides an introduction to studying sport and fitness for applicants with a genuine interest in subject area and looking to start their journey towards a career in the industry. The course includes topics such as multi-sports, personal fitness, wellbeing and teamwork along with communication and meta-skills integrated within units.

Entry Requirements

No formal entry requirements although a genuine interest in Sport and Fitness is essential. 

Method of Assessment

Variety of on-going assessments: practical performance and participation, some written assignments and logbook completion. 

Future Prospects

This course prepares learners for further study of sport and fitness at college.
