Method of Assessment

The assessments for the course will include both practical (dance technique and choreography) and academic submissions.

Future Prospects

Gaining the SQA required qualification to deliver NPA/N5/Higher Dance in Secondary Schools. The SQA requires you to complete SCQF Level 7 and Level 8 units. The first fast track block (running Jan-June 2025) gives you the required HNC units and credits. The next block of study (commencing September 2025) will give you the required HND units. To qualify as a NPA/N5/Higher Dance teacher you will need to complete and succeed in both blocks.
