Course Content

Technology affects the way we live, socialise and play. Computing skills are essential in today’s workplace. This course introduces Computing and Cyber Security that will help you build a path that can lead to a variety of computing-related careers as you develop your technical and meta skills to prepare for HN level study.

With support from our expert staff you will learn key skills in a range of key areas. 

Your subjects include:

• Software Development
• Web Development
• Maths for Computing
• Project
• Hardware and Networking
• Ethical Hacking
• Introduction to Linux

Classes are 16 hours per week over 3 days. Class activities will include ethical hacking, coding, presentations, quizzes and team work.

Completion of a strong personal statement explaining your interest in the course, please contact us for support if needed. You may be invited to a recruitment workshop to ensure this is the right course for you. All applicants may also be asked to provide a reference.

Method of Assessment

Each unit will have its own assessment. Methods of assessment include multiple choice tests, coding tasks, short reports and project work.
