Course Content

Technology affects the way we live, socialise and play. Computing skills are essential in today’s workplace. This certificate course will help you build a path that can lead to a variety of computing-related careers. The main focus is teaching you key skills in cyber security, coding, networking and team work. Your subjects include:

·       Introduction to Linux

·       Introduction to Digital Forensics

·       Software Development

·       Web Development

·       Computing Project

Learning is 16 hours per week over 3 days. Class activities will include hacking, coding, presentations and team work.

Method of Assessment

Each unit will have its own assessment. Methods of assessment include multiple choice tests, coding tasks, short reports and project work.
