Applying Hair Extensions at Level 3

Course Content

This course teaches how to create a variety of styles using various techniques for attaching hair extensions and will allow you to become VTCT-qualified in Tape and Weave extensions working on Human and Artificial Hair.

You will learn how to assess your clients’ hair by identifying influencing factors through consultation techniques, enabling you to determine the correct products, hair attachments and methods of attaching the added hair, ensuring that you follow health and safety.

You must also demonstrate that you can work on varying hair lengths and provide your client with good aftercare advice.

To complete the course, you will need to purchase your own kit. We will provide you with a detailed list of the required items.

Entry Requirements

You must hold a minimum of level 2 Hairdressing qualification or equivalent and or sufficient industry experience.

Method of Assessment

Assessed though direct observation with E learning for gathering evidence for knowledge required.
