Course Content

This full-time course is aimed at young people who are needing additional support to focus on developing skills in a range of areas including raising confidence and aspirations, improving teamwork skills and developing coping strategies for different situations whilst gaining a basic level of essential and meta skills to help prepare the candidate to progress onto level 4 courses. Academic achievements will be raised through nationally-recognised qualifications from both SQA and City & Guilds.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this course. Applicants will attend an interview as part of the selection process.

Method of Assessment

Continuous assessment throughout the year and end of unit tests/assessment.

Future Prospects

Successful candidates may progress onto level 4 courses.
