Certified Welding

Course Content

Enhance welding skills in a variety of joint configurations, thicknesses and weld positions using selected industrial welding processes and Carbon Steel. These include Manual Metal Arc (MMA), Metal Arc Gas Shielded (MAGS), and Tungsten Arc Gas Shielded (TAGS).

This course is delivered one evening a week over 10 weeks.

Entry Requirements

Welding has many safety factors and if you are interested in this course and you have underlying health problems please consult your doctor/optician prior to commencement (epilepsy, heart condition, visual impairment/contact lenses). Students will need PPE (flame retardant boilersuit, boots), and a notebook and pen.

Future Prospects

This 25 hour course is a good opportunity to test the water if you are interested in becoming a full-time welding student and to find out if this trade is for you.
