CIH Level 3 Certificate in Housing Practice
Course Content
This 9-month vocational qualification for the housing sector provides technical knowledge and understanding across a broad range of frontline housing practices at an operational level. This qualification supports the development of learners' personal growth and engagement in learning and housing.
The course comprises eight mandatory units: Professional Practice Skills for Housing; The Housing System; Delivery of Housing Services; Equality and Diversity for Housing; Homelessness Services and Prevention, Occupancy, Tenure and Lettings; Dealing with Anti-Social Behaviour and Customer Service in Housing.
This course has 2 intakes per session, in August and January.
Entry Requirements
The course is suitable for applicants who have completed the CIH Level 2 Certificate in Housing Practice and/or are working in the housing sector and wish to develop their skills further or are looking to specialise in an area of housing. A background in housing is essential.
Method of Assessment
Learners will have access to online course materials, together with online tutorials scheduled for each module and tutor support throughout the course.
Future Prospects
On successful completion of the CIH Level 3 Certificate in Housing Practice, learners can progress to the CIH Level 4 Certificate in Housing and then onto the Level 5 Diploma.
