Course Content

Course includes:

• Site safety awareness
• Identifying & understanding construction, controls & gauges
• Complying with the operator’s manual, rating plates and regulations
• Pre-use & running checks
• Configuring for travel
• Placing the truck in an out-of-service condition
• Operating with and without a load including confined areas
• Load integrity & security
• Accurate placing & retrieving
• Safe working parameters
• Explaining loading & unloading procedures, on and off a transporter
• Using a reach lift truck
• Place & retrieve loads from a vehicle bed or trailer
• Post-operational checks.

Entry Requirements

This is the two-day version of the course aimed at individuals who have experience / are frequent operators.
