BPEC Level 3 Award in Heat Pump Systems

Course Content

The BPEC Heat Pump Systems programme is recognised as a demonstration of competence for the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS).

This course is designed to give installers the skills and knowledge required to correctly install heat pumps.

This course has been designed with the intention of meeting the requirement of the National Occupational Standards and industry working groups.  

The course is split into two areas which can be undertaken as individual areas or both e.g. Heat Pump Technology + Air Source or Heat Pump Technology + Ground Source or Heat Pump Technology + Air and Ground Source.

Entry Requirements

Candidates must be fully qualified plumbers or heating engineers and hold a BPEC Water Regulations/BPEC Water Byelaws qualification.
