BA (Hons) Professional Theatre Practice (Completion Award)

Course Content

Provides learners with advanced knowledge in industry-relevant theatre artistry. We work in partnership with University of West London, one of the top 40 universities in the UK (according to the Guardian University Guide). The course is highly practical and includes regular theatre technical and creative classes in a variety of styles, facilitation, development of one’s practice and portfolio building. There are also unique opportunities to take devised work to stage and performance and join specialist workshops/ production processes led by professional theatre artists. Offering an environment that is challenging, creative and supportive, learners are encouraged to take responsibility for their own work to prepare for the profession.  

Entry Requirements

Learners who have achieved HND Acting and Performance or equivalent may progress onto this programme upon successful completion of a practical audition/or submission of footage and interview. 

Method of Assessment

On-going continuous coursework involving a range of practical performances as well as academic submissions. 

Future Prospects

Entry into the theatre industry as a performer, arts facilitator, progression onto post graduate and Masters level courses.
