Progressing to university from D&A College
Dundee and Angus College has a wide range of articulation agreements with universities across Scotland.
Articulation is when a student on an HNC or HND programme can progress into either year two (from HNC) or year three (from HND) of a degree at university.
Our articulation agreements mean that students who have completed the relevant HNC/D can progress onto university without having to repeat a level of study.
Looking at the latest numbers available, in 2018 that meant over 280 D&A students went straight into an advanced year of university.
You can browse which universities we have articulation agreements with and the pathways on offer:
- Business, Access & Education
- Care, Social Science & Sport
- Creative, Cultural & Digital
- Science, Technologies & Landbased
Many of the routes listed will have conditions on the articulation, for example, a requirement to get a certain grade in the HNC or HND graded unit. This to make sure students are best placed to transition successfully into their chosen degree.
Remember to check with the university in question about exact entry requirements when you apply.
