D&A College 2023 Graduation
We are delighted to be able to celebrate the success of our advanced-level students from 2022/23 with a graduation ceremony at the Caird Hall, Dundee on Friday 27 October 2023.
Our formal graduation ceremony is for students who have successfully completed an advanced course at SCQF level 7 and above (such as an HNC, HND, PDA or SVQ 3) and have left college.
If you would like to attend the 2022/23 graduation, you need to:
1. Register to attend, and 2. Hire a gown
1. Registration Information
*** Online registration has now closed, please email graduation@dundeeandangus.ac.uk with any enquiries. ***
A confirmation email with further details was sent to everyone registered within three working days of registering.
All registered students need to confirm their attendance and collect their tickets and gown at the Caird Hall on graduation day.
Guest Tickets
All guests* need a ticket to attend graduation. Guest tickets are free, and you could request up to 3 guest tickets when you registered.
Your guest tickets can be collected by you or your guests from the registration desks in the Marryat Hall on graduation day before 2pm.
*Guest tickets are only needed for each seat, so babies/small children don’t need a ticket if they are sitting on someone’s knee.
Live stream
This year we will also be livestreaming the ceremony so people can watch from home.
2. Gown Hire and Dress Code
This is a formal gowned ceremony; all graduating students must follow the dress code and wear the appropriate gown and hood.
Gowns should be ordered online from Ede & Ravenscroft by 5 pm on Friday 13 October.
Gown hire will cost £30 for the day; booked gowns will be available for collection from the Caird Hall on graduation day.
We suggest graduating students wear a white or light-coloured top (tie is optional) with a dark-coloured skirt or trousers, a dark-coloured dress or suit, or Highland Dress.
Students who are not gowned will not be able to take part in the ceremony.
If you have any questions about your gown hire, please contact Ede & Ravenscroft on 01223 861 854 or their online enquiry form.
Photography
Ede & Ravenscroft will offer official photographs (individual and/or group/family shots) on graduation day. These can be pre-booked online on the Ede & Ravenscroft website. If you have any questions regarding photography, please contact Ede & Ravenscroft directly on 01223 861 854 or their online enquiry form.
Your guests are welcome to take photographs during the ceremony.
Photographs of groups and individuals will be taken at the ceremony for promotion and publicity. If you don't want your image used for this purpose, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing graduation@dundeeandangus.ac.uk.
