Course Content

This multidisciplinary engineering course covers: Communications; Engineering Maths 1; Computer Aided Draughting; Pneumatics and Hydraulics.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must be employed in the engineering sector, and they must have an agreement with their employer to undertake this day-release programme.

Qualifications required are relevant NC/NQ courses in an engineering discipline at Level 6 or two Highers (or equivalent) at grade C or above in either English, Mathematics or Physics.

Method of Assessment

Submission of written reports, ongoing course assessment and a graded unit project.

Future Prospects

Progression onto a higher-level engineering-specific course up to degree level.
