Foundation Degree of the Arts - Esports and Creative Industries Year 2
Course Content
This is the 2nd year of the 2-year Foundation Degree, and equivalent to SCQF level 8. This innovative course is the progression from year 1 and helps you to develop and put into practice skills around producing esports events where you will work with your classmates and external partners to run an esports event. You will look at how technology supports esports events and conducting a professional research project in conjunction with a work placement.
Progressing from the first year of the degree, this course looks at:
- Esports Event Production
- Esports Marketing Strategies
- Esports Media
- Technologies for Esports Events
- Applied Industry Research
This Foundation Degree is validated by the University of West London (UWL).
Entry Requirements
This is a progression course from Foundation Degree of Arts - Esports and Creative Industries Year 1.
Applicants must have successfully completed the Year 1 course, including all 120 credits.
Method of Assessment
Each module will have its own assessment. Methods of assessment will vary depending on the module, and may include:
- Esports Event Production
- Production of Podcasts and Presentations
- Production of video and media
- Written reports and multiple choice quizzes
Future Prospects
Successful students will be able to progress to employment opportunities in the creative and esports industries. Potential to progress to University in areas related to the esports foundation degree.
