Course Content

The qualification structure and organisation of units for these qualifications have been informed by CMI 21st Century Leaders 1, and have two key themes: 

• Foundations for Excellence
• Developing Capabilities, Delivering Results, Driving Best Practice

The qualification structure has been designed to support learners in selecting combinations of units that address their own development needs and interests. The units developed for each theme will also enable organisations to tailor the CMI Award/Certificate/Diploma to address specific organisational development needs.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements; however, it is expected that applicants are working within or towards a management role at a junior or middle management level. 

Method of Assessment

Online workshops with tutor support and self-study resources.

Future Prospects

Learners can progress to the CMI Level 3 Diploma in Principles of Management and Leadership. They may also wish to further their ongoing personal and professional development by accessing other CMI qualifications, such as the CMI Level 5 Qualifications in Management and Leadership.
