Course Content
This course is ideal for anyone wishing to study accountancy and finance alongside a range of complementary business and personal skills. This qualification may also be valuable for those entering the workplace for the first time or for those changing careers who would like additional support in upskilling to enter or re-enter a business environment.
Units studied: Introduction to Bookkeeping; Principles of Bookkeeping Controls; Principles of Costing; The Business Environment.
The course is delivered through online material or taught classes and textbooks.
AAT registration (required at the start of the course), exam fees and textbooks are not included in the course fees.
Entry Requirements
AAT does not set any entry requirements for this qualification however a good standard of English and Maths would be an advantage. Consideration would be given to applicants with relevant work experience.
Method of Assessment
Four units are assessed individually in end-of-unit assessments.
Future Prospects
Candidates who successfully achieve this course could progress to the Advanced level qualification.
