The aim of this course is to train learners in the installation and safety requirements of unvented hot water systems. Areas of study include: establishing an understanding of Building Standards requirements; identifying typical faults associated with the installation or maintenance of unvented cylinders; developing an understanding of the requirements of the Building Standards detailing conservation, service and maintenance of hot water and central heating systems.

Following the course, learners will complete a BPEC written open-book assessment and practical assessment.
