Course Content

Driven by an innovative, artificially intelligent world, and a growing digital economy, Software Developers are in demand in the Technology Sector. The HND Computing Software Development course will provide you with a foundation in a range of software development and computing disciplines to prepare you for progression to University or work within Software Development. You will gain knowledge and skills in areas related to Software Engineering, Design Concepts, Mobile Application Development, Software Development, Database Systems, Web Authoring and Data Analysis which are highly valued within the industry. This is a full-time course delivered on campus which includes classes, practical tutorials, project work and self-study sessions.

Entry Requirements

Successful completion of all 15 SQA credits from HND Year 1 Software Development. Subject to interview selection process, plus suitable reference. 

Method of Assessment

Internal unit assessments are continuous throughout the course with a project at the end of year 2.
