AAT Diploma in Professional Accounting
Course Content
This course provides a professional qualification to help gain employment, apply for full AAT membership (MAAT) and apply to become an AAT licenced Accountant/Bookkeeper or progress to further professional study.
The course covers the following areas of study:
Advanced Business Awareness; Audit and Internal Controls; Financial Accounting; Management Accounting; Principles of Taxation.
The course is delivered on campus with live classes, supported with official textbooks and online materials. AAT registration is required at the start of the course and please note that registration fees, exam fees and textbook costs are not included in the course fees. (Textbooks are ordered by the college on behalf of candidates).
Entry Requirements
Having an HNC/D Accounting qualification may provide exemptions for applicants. Applicants with relevant work experience in the sector will also be considered for this course. Applicants will be interviewed either in person or by telephone before a formal place is offered.
Method of Assessment
Assessed by AAT using computer-based assessments. On successful completion learners will be awarded from the Association of Accounting Technicians.
Future Prospects
On successful completion, learners can apply for AAT full membership (MAAT) for a range of benefits including career advice to help them find the perfect job.
