Next Steps 2
Course Content
This course is for young people with additional support needs and is designed to build on the skills developed in Next Steps 1 and encourages learners to be more independent where possible while offering a supported environment to continue their development. The timetable of this course includes: essential skills (ICT, Communication, Numeracy, Working with Others and Problem Solving); enterprise skills; independent living skills; creativity; health and well-being. On this course there will be an opportunity to explore and engage with community activities.
Entry Requirements
There are no specific pre-entry requirements other than a willingness to study and to participate fully as a learner at college although some subjects will include a level of physical activity. Applicants will be encouraged to set personal learning targets with support from college tutors.

Employment referrals and supported employment referrals; referrals to Skills Development Scotland; volunteering opportunities; wider community opportunities; Next Steps 3.
