Course Content

This nationally recognised qualification, funded by Skills Development Scotland, is designed for individuals aged 16 and over who are in paid employment within the hospitality industry and want to specialise in bakery and patisserie with hands-on experience.

Method of Assessment

Ongoing internal continuous assessments using various methods including open-book and closed-book assessments, observations and projects.

Future Prospects

Progression to HNC in Professional Cookery specialising in Patisserie and Confectionery. Employment prospects in the hotel, catering and hospitality industries are excellent.
