Community Opportunities
Course Content
We offer a wide range of part-time opportunities for learners with additional support needs each semester, including smart sports, outdoor adventures, filmmaking, yoga and relaxation. Other options may also be available. This course offers a variety of part-time classes at both Gardyne and Arbroath Campus, plus other community venues. These classes are designed for individuals with learning disabilities and are ideal for learners who may not wish to undertake a full-time programme.
Entry Requirements
There are no specific pre-entry requirements other than a willingness to study and to participate fully as a learner at college. Applicants will generally be invited to come and meet the staff team for an informal interview and to discuss the classes that best suit the learner's needs. If personal support is required to be successful at college, this must be discussed and in place prior to taking up the course. Some classes may require a level of physical ability and fitness.
Future Prospects
Personal development opportunities, wider community opportunities and referral to Supported Employment Service.
