British Pathe - Before television, people came to movie theatres to watch the news. British Pathé was at the forefront of cinematic journalism, blending information with entertainment to popular effect. If it happened, British Pathé filmed it!
CC Search / Openverse - CC Search is a tool that allows openly licensed and public domain works to be discovered and used by everyone.
Clickview - ClickView is a world leading producer of educational videos. There is also a huge library of videos that that have already been stored.

Digimap - Operated by EDINA at the University of Edinburgh, Digimap offers data collections, including Ordnance Survey, historical, geological, LiDAR and marine maps and spatial data.

EU Screen - EU Screen is a network of European broadcasters and audio-visual archives, media scholars, and technical experts.
Getty Search Gateway - The Getty Search Gatewayallows users to search across several of the Getty image repositories, including collections databases, library catalogues, collection inventories, and archival finding aids.
Moving Images Archive - From home movies to documentaries, from industry to entertainment – the National Library of Scotland Moving Image Archive(formerly the Scottish Screen Archive) has something for everyone.
SCRAN - SCRAN is an online learning service. It contains over 500,000 images and media from museums, galleries, and archives. It aims to advance public education by enabling access to Scotland’s culture, heritage and related material.
TED Talks - TED Talks spread ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less). Today it covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages.
Unsplash - Unsplash has over 2 million free high-resolution images that you can use to enhance your learning.

Connected Histories - Connected Histories brings together a range of digital resources related to early modern and nineteenth century Britain with a single search that allows sophisticated searching of names, places and date.
STEM Centre eLibrary - This website is home to thousands of free-to-access, quality-assured resources to support the teaching and learning of science, technology, engineering and mathematics(STEM)subjects.
Academic Earth - Academic Earth is a list of online courses that you can complete in your own time to enhance your CV.
Flickr Explore - Creative Commons -Flickr users have chosen to offer their work under a Creative Commons license, and you can browse or search through content under each type of license.
Internet Archive - The Internet Archive, is building a digital library of Internet sites and other cultural artifacts in digital form. Like a paper library, we provide free access to researchers, historians, scholars, the print disabled, and the general public.
Open Culture - Open Culture scours the web for the best educational media. We find the free courses and audio books you need, the language lessons & educational videos you want, and plenty of enlightenment in between.
