Dundee and Angus College Inspires Future Innovators at STEM Expo26

Dundee and Angus College is proud to play a key role in Dundee Science Festival’s landmark 25th anniversary year, inspiring the next generation of scientists, engineers and innovators through STEM Expo26.

Taking place on Tuesday 3 and Wednesday 4 February 2026 at Dundee Science Centre, STEM Expo26 will welcome around 500 primary and secondary pupils from Dundee and Angus, offering an exciting introduction to the world of science, technology, engineering and maths.

Delivered as part of Dundee Science Festival’s dedicated schools’ week, the Expo will feature a wide range of interactive, hands-on activities designed to build confidence, spark curiosity and raise awareness of future STEM career pathways. Pupils will have the opportunity to explore emerging technologies, creative problem-solving and real-world applications of STEM, while engaging directly with educators, industry partners and researchers.

The event takes place immediately ahead of the wider Dundee Science Festival, which runs from Saturday 7 to Sunday 22 February 2026, and celebrates 25 years of discovery, creativity and community engagement across the city and beyond.

Through its involvement in STEM Expo26, Dundee and Angus College continues its commitment to supporting young learners, strengthening links with schools, and helping students see themselves as future scientists, engineers and innovators.

STEM Expo26 forms part of Dundee Science Festival, funded by the Scottish Government, the Edina Trust and Scottish Water.
