Celebrating Our Students Success at The Scottish Parliament!

The recent Pop-Up Dinner at The Scottish Parliament, hosted as part of Student Dining Nights, was a remarkable achievement for our Hospitality and Professional Cookery students.

This prestigious event brought together learners from SVQ Level 3 Professional Cookery, HNC Hospitality, Patisserie, and Professional Cookery courses, providing them with a unique platform to showcase their talent, creativity, and professionalism in a high-profile fine dining setting.

The evening was met with outstanding feedback, with guests praising both the exceptional quality of food and the impeccable service. The event was a true celebration of the students’ dedication, skill, and passion, creating an unforgettable gastronomic experience.

Among the guests in attendance were Graeme Dey MSP, Mairi Gougeon MSP, Shona Robison MSP, Shirley Laing from The Scottish Government, and Francesca Osowska from the Scottish Funding Council, along with our own Exec, all of whom were highly impressed by the professionalism and expertise on display.

This achievement would not have been possible without the dedication of the college’s incredible Hospitality Department staff, including Kichelle Robinson, David Rutter, Daniel Radtke, Sara Long, Maja Gach, Shaun Buchanan, and the many others who worked tirelessly behind the scenes.

A huge congratulations to everyone involved—this was truly a night to remember!
