Course Content

This nationally recognised introductory construction course is designed for learners who want to explore a career in the construction industry. It provides hands-on experience across multiple trades while developing essential employability skills.

All units within the course must be completed to gain certification.

Entry Requirements

Two passes at National 4 or equivalent, preferably in English and Maths.

All applicants will require a satisfactory interview and to pass a diagnostic test with a score of 30% or above.

Method of Assessment

A mixture of practical work (both individual and in groups), open and closed book classroom assessments.

Successful completion can lead to further study in construction disciplines or entry-level roles in the construction industry.
