Course Content

Learners will develop a range of skills that will enhance employability; focus; teamwork; communication; confidence; and aptitude in the care area. 

Entry Requirements

This course does not have formal entry requirements. During the interview, applicants will complete a written task focused on care, and they should demonstrate a genuine interest in the subject.

Method of Assessment

Continuous assessment throughout the year and end of unit tests/assessment.

Future Prospects

Successful completion of this course will enable learners to apply to areas in Children & Young People and Health and Social Care. However, they will not be eligible to apply for another Gateway Course.
