D&A College of Sanctuary

Community at its heart!

It is with pride and gratitude that we celebrate becoming the first College of Sanctuary in Scotland. This milestone is not just a testament to our commitment to inclusivity and compassion, but also a beacon of hope and solidarity for all those seeking refuge and a brighter future.

D&A College has always been a place where diversity is celebrated, and every individual is valued. Achieving the status of a College of Sanctuary underscores our unwavering dedication to creating a safe and welcoming environment for everyone, regardless of their background or circumstances.

D&A would like to recognise the resilience and courage of those who have sought sanctuary within our walls and celebrate their stories, their dreams, and their contributions to our college and society at large. Through their experiences, we are reminded of the power of education to transform lives and the importance of standing together in the face of adversity.

As we share our journey with friends, community partners and decision makers, we hope to inspire continued support for initiatives that promote inclusivity and sanctuary.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has been part of this journey - students, staff, and supporters. Together, we will continue to uphold the values of sanctuary and strive towards a future where every individual feels safe, respected, and empowered.
