Course Content

The aim of this course is to train learners in the installation and safety requirements of unvented hot water systems.

Areas of study include establishing an understanding of Building Standards requirements, identifying typical faults associated with the installation or maintenance of unvented cylinders, and developing an understanding of the requirements of the Building Standards detailing the conservation, service, and maintenance of hot water and central heating systems.

Following the course, learners will complete a BPEC written open-book assessment and practical assessment.
