Camperdown House Tea Room

✽✽✽ We've come to the end of the six week service period for the Tea Room, and it is now closed.
We'd like to thank all the customers who have visited (many more than once!) and all the supportive comments and compliments that have been received.

The venture has been immensely popular and people have appreciated Camperdown House being open to the public again.

We will keep you posted about what's next, and in the meantime you can enjoy more of the same service at the college restaurants in our Kingsway and Arbroath campuses.

In a unique partnership with Dundee City Council, we opened a vintage tea room in Camperdown House for the summer period.

This was the first stage of a finishing school for our hospitality students, supporting them to gain experience to work within the hospitality industry.

From Saturday 27 June, Afternoon Tea was served in three sittings: 11:30am; 1:00pm and 2:15pm.

The tea room, open Tuesday to Sunday, offered a true vintage experience with high-backed leather and brocade chairs, oak tables and waitresses in long black skirts with white linen aprons and traditional headbands.

The tea room is accessible for wheelchair users.

Gift vouchers available.
