Performing Arts Leisure Classes
We offer a range of creative classes at The Space, Dundee on Saturdays.
Next classes all start on 22nd April 2023.
Parent and Child creative dance classes
These sessions are based on developmental movement play and will focus on coordination, balance, musical awareness and confidence. You will have fun and giggle with every step as you and your child explore stories through dance.

Streetdance (7+ years old)
This fun and energetic class teaches techniques from different dance styles such as Popping, Locking, Hip Hop, House dance and Breakdance through dance routines. The participants will also develop their confidence, self-esteem and individual skills while creating their own routines.

Adult Contemporary & Lyrical mix (15+ years old)
This class will explore the connection between movement and expression. Individuality and creative contributions will be encouraged throughout the class. Ideal for those that want to explore and express themselves – everyone is welcome.
9.30 – 11.00 am, Studio 3

Dancing Wheels
This inclusive class is designed to give the disabled and able-bodied dancer the pleasure of dance and movement to music. The participants will enjoy a fun activity, be able to express themselves in a safe environment while improving their confidence and stimulating mental health and creativity. The class also encourages social interaction between partners, friends, care workers and families.
