Caroline Deyga graduated from the acting and performance programme in 2011 and has been nominated for an Olivier Award.

Originally from Carnoustie, Caroline spent some time with Dundee Rep Ensemble after leaving college before touring with National Theatre of Scotland’s production of Our Ladies of Perpetual Succour.

Now in London’s west end the play is based on Alan Warner’s novel the Sopranos.

Caroline has been nominated for the 2017 Olivier Award, best actress in a supporting role.

“It is always great to see our former students make their mark in their chosen profession,” said the principal.

“But it is perhaps just a wee bit more thrilling to hear of one of our students doing so well in such a competitive industry as show business.”

The Olivier Awards ceremony takes place in the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday, April 9.
