SVQ Level 4 Advice and Guidance

Course Content

The course comprises eight units, four of which are mandatory: Develop interactions with advice and guidance clients; Manage personal case load; Evaluate and develop own contribution to the service; Operate within networks.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must be in continuous employment (paid or voluntary) as managers within a variety of advice and guidance sectors for a minimum of 1 year and working a minimum of 16 hours per week. Applicants must have responsibility for professional work activities which require a substantial degree of personal autonomy and/or responsibility for managing staff within the sector in which they operate, for example, careers guidance, employment advice, money advice, housing advice, specialist advice and guidance services.
