Health and Social Care Academy (Short Course)

Course Content

The Angus Health + Social Care Academy is a partnership between Dundee and Angus College, Angus Council. NHS Tayside, Independent + Voluntary Care Sector and Job Centre Plus. It provides a full-time pre-employment training programme lasting 6 weeks which aims to equip people with essential skills to allow them to apply for support service jobs within the Health and Social Care sector.

Entry Requirements

You must currently be unemployed and registered with the Job Centre Plus in order to be eligible for the course.

Opportunities to apply for employment in Support work or Health Care Assistant posts.
