Engineering Training SVQ Level 2
Course Content
This practical and hands-on course covers various engineering processes and techniques plus supporting theory including health & safety and core skills in literacy, numeracy, IT and team working.
Entry Requirements
Progression from Future Engineers. Four National 4 passes in Maths, English and a Technical subject. Consideration given on an individual basis to those with relevant experience. The selection process will be based on the applicant's personal statement and qualifications.
Method of Assessment
A mixture of closed book individual assessments, reports, practical work (both individual and group) as appropriate to the module.
Future Prospects
Progression to NC Engineering. This forms the first step of the Modern Apprenticeship (MA) and MA opportunities within these sectors are also available if learners can secure employment with an appropriate employer.
